Artifact is a free guide to the best of the Web for the Arts and Creative Industries.

Artifact forms part of the Resource Discovery Network (RDN) which is the UK’s free national gateway to Internet resources for the learning, teaching and research community via a series of subject-based information gateways (or hubs). The RDN is primarily aimed at Internet users in UK further and higher education but is freely available to all.
There are some interesting new galleries on this site showing a variety of concepts for the book as art.
The University of the West of England, Bristol will host a 2 day conference exploring artists books, dates are 9 - 10 July 2009. A call for papers will be announced in October 2008. Contact Sarah Bodman at UWE for more information:
